Snowfall warning in effect for:

Sault Ste. Marie – St. Joseph Island
Searchmont – Montreal River Harbour – Batchawana Bay
Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

Snow will begin later this morning and become heavy at times this afternoon and tonight.

A Colorado low will track just east of the regions a snow will continue until Wednesday morning. Local blowing snow and reduced visibilities are expected.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
