Individuals and families came out to Rivercity Motorsports on Saturday morning to enjoy the sunshine and take a ride on some of Rivercity’s snowmobiles during their second annual Rivercity Ride and Demo Day.
Rivercity Salesperson Ryan Olar told SaultOnline this event is a completely free way for people to test drive (and hopefully purchase) snowmobiles, such at Arctic Cat and Player models. This demo ride isn’t just for the adults, he explained.
“The youths and kids get to have a fun time on the smaller sleds as well,” he said.
Riders started at Rivercity and followed the trail to Silver Creek Golf Course, where they enjoyed lunch paid for by Rivercity Motorsports.
Olar said the turnout for this event has been great both years, with over 100 people participating in this unique test drive.
“It’s very talked about, as it’s not something anybody else does for a Family Day type thing,” he said. “(It’s important), because there aren’t a lot of things we do much anymore that involve everyone. And everyone here, we all know each other, we’ve all seen each other before, so it’s nice to be involved in that as well.”
