Sault Ste. Marie Police Services have cleared a downtown street following an unconfirmed bomb threat.
A building on Elgin Street between Bay and Queen Street was evacuated and the street closed as Police investigated the threat.
The street was re-opened when deemed safe by Police.
Several police vehicles were on scene following the threat, however nothing has been found as of yet. Bystanders told SaultOnline.com and ONNtv by phone that there was a large police presence near the Court House.
The investigation is continuing.
So, why no follow up on this yet?
