Female Charged with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card

On Mar. 14, 2019, officers with the Community Oriented Response and Enforcement team of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 36-year-old Heidi Barry of East Balfour Street with unauthorized use of a credit card.

Earlier this month, a complainant reported losing a wallet sometime between Feb. 24 and 26, 2019, and noticed multiple transactions from their accounts that they didn’t make.

It’s alleged between Feb. 27 and Mar. 1, 2019, the accused made multiple transactions with bank cards that weren’t hers, totaling approximately $4,200. She is charged with 17 counts of unauthorized use of a credit card, and is scheduled to appear in court on Apr. 29, 2019.


  1. Here’s what happens. They go to jail for a few months , then put back on the streets with welfare cheque. This is a revolving door. No help , no counciling. Till they meet again.
