The Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) has announced that Sault Ste. Marie-based real estate broker, Kim Clouthier has been elected as Provincial Director at OREA. The announcement follows the association’s annual conference from February 27 – March 1, 2019.
In this capacity, Ms. Clouthier will serve a two-year term as Provincial Director for the Northern Ontario Area on the OREA Board of Directors, representing realtors in the North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Timmins, Cochrane & Timiskaming real estate boards.
“For the first time in history, home ownership is on the decline. Now more than ever, we need to keep the dream of home ownership alive for future generations. I’m looking forward to helping OREA forge ahead as we push for increased housing supply, higher professional standards, and more affordable home ownership,” said Ms. Clouthier.
Active in the real estate profession for 18 years, Ms. Clouthier is a Broker for Royal LePage Northern Advantage Brokerage in Sault Ste. Marie. Ms. Clouthier has been a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Real Estate Board since 2011, including as a Director in 2015 and as President in 2017. She has also served as member and chair of OREA’s Young Professional Network Committee, and currently sits on OREA’s Media and Communications committee.
