On March 4th 2019 officers with the Patrol Services division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service charged 26 year old Muhammet Kamacihan of Beverley Street with possession of a controlled substance.
It’s alleged on March 4th, 2019 the accused was observed by officers swerving back and forth into oncoming traffic on his bicycle. When approached by officers he fled from police.
Officers took him into custody a short time later; he is charged with three counts of breach of recognizance and one count of breach of probation.
While in custody officers found what is believed to be small amounts of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine in his possession. He is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was held for bail court.
