It’s a nightmare when their pet goes missing. Melissa Leask knows all about that.
Her beloved dog Marlee an Ackbash and Sharpay mix is still missing after 7 days.
Melissa believes Marlee “must of seen something and jumped the fence” Marlee lived with Melissa on Pine Street just before McNabb.
The 2 and half year old dog has been gone ever since with only a few sightings near Sault College and the Mapleview retirement home. “people tried to catch her by Sault College and Maple View area. But couldn’t get her. We believe she’s in the Bush. Or someone has her” Leask tells SaultOnline.com
Melissa has had Marlee since the pup was just eight weeks old and this is the first time she’s gone missing. “I’m just worried sick” Leask said.
“She’s very timid. But who knowS if hungry enough she might go to someone”
Leask said she has posted on social media and put up flyers all over town but so far, no word on her beloved dog.
She hopes that if someone has seen her to call her 705-255-8121 or 705-945-6129
I saw a similar dog yesterday afternoon as I was driving west on Second Line just past the circle K at Pine St. It was loose on the south sidewalk
Thanks claire. We will keep looking there to.
