SooBlaster Undergoes Re-Branding


Das Kumar the owner of SooBlaster, says the downtown bar and arcade is re-branding with new management in place for May.

The popular venue for gaming and entertainment will re-brand as BlaSter Restaurant  Bar and Arcade this May a release said Wednesday.

The state of the art downtown location has recently reinvested in its playground with the purchase of 53 of the newest and most modern games for kids young and old.

In comes the new and out goes the old. All games currently available for your playing pleasure will be sold off to make room for the incoming technology. Contact (705) 450-0095 to inquire.

In addition to the added fun and entertainment, BlaSter will also be opening up its new kitchen A La Carte, adding to what they currently serve, the new menu will feature international foods that the Soo has yet to see, the release stated.

New and exciting dishes  include recipes that are Mediterranean, South Indian, and Taiwanese in origin to just name a few.

BlaSter has also inked a deal to bring top-notch entertainment to the Sault on a regular basis ranging from  Country, Rock, Hip Hop, or Comedy.

The operation is also investing in new sound and P.A. systems.

No cost of the rebrand and additions were announced.

Since opening its doors in 2017 BlaSter has brought in several headline acts most recently,  internationally famous comedian Derek Seguin. Later this month the world famous Killer Dwarfs hit the stage on April 27th.


  1. Huh. I saw an ad on the bottom of the article for a show “Dwight in Shining Armour” and it’s unavailable in our region. Why would someone advertise something that’s unavailable? No sense.

  2. maybe you need to tell people, more often, that it’s open and what you can do there. The Soo is so “build it and hope they will come”. You have to advertise and promote it… constantly.
