On March 30th, SCMMA competitor Raiden Oliver improved his MMA record to 2-0 with a first round TKO victory of Nicholas Thirlby of Midland, Michigan. The victory at Big Johns’s MMA, hosted at Kiwedin Casino marks the second consecutive first round stoppage victory for Oliver.

The very next weekend, SCMMA jiu jitsu competitors Charles Willhelm and Justin Sauerzopf competed in “Ground Games” jiu jitsu showcase in Sudbury Ontario. Both participants emerged victorious. Justin defeated Nathan Hewitt of Grounded Studios (North Bay) in overtime, in what many considered to be the most exciting fight of the night. Charles Willhelm defeated Peter Mcintyre of Sudbury MMA via submission in one of the feature bouts of the evening.

On April 14th, two SCMMA competitors travelled to Midland, Ontario to compete in the Driven Jiu Jitsu Invitational.
