A Grand Opening event for Sweet Change, a chocolate company, will be held at the Marconi Cultural Event Centre on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Come and enjoy an evening of Sweet Change chocolate, with wine and cheese pairings. A cash bar will also be available.
Meet and hear Philippe Vancayseele, one of Canada’s most important chocolate chefs, Vin Greco, Sault Ste. Marie’s acknowledged Wine Connoisseur and Eugene Palarchio, Sault Ste. Marie’s well known Cheesemonger.
All proceeds from the sale of Sweet Change products will be used to support the Centre’s training program – Project Entrepreneurship.
Project Entrepreneurship is a unique training program that addresses social and employment issues using a combination of training in life skills, business techniques, employment standards, employer expectations, and entrepreneurship. As part of Project Entrepreneurship, Sweet Change, a chocolate company promotes hands-on learning in an interactive and supportive environment in the areas of manufacturing, wholesale and retail. Proceeds from this event support the sustainability of the Centre for Social Justice and Good Works and Sweet Change, a chocolate company.
“Teaching participants various business acumens will lead to self-sustainability with respect to employment, further education or entrepreneurship” says John Febbraro, President of the Board of Directors.
The tickets are $50 per person – $500 per table of ten. Tickets are available at the Marconi Event Centre and the Centre for Social Justice and Good Works, 1 Herrick Street, or by calling 705-450-4483. Sponsorship opportunities are welcomed to further support this event and the Centre’s programs.
It’s time for a Sweet Change.
