On May 12th, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 32 year old Bobbi-Jean Otakawadjiwan-Boyer of Batchewana Street for assault.
It’s alleged the accused attended a business in the 200 block of Bay Street and was seen removing price tags on items and placing them into a bag. Store security approached her, at which time the accused spit in their face.
She was held for police by store security. Police arrived and she was taken into custody. She is charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of probation. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 17, 2019.
