EN Productions is advising that due to unfavourable conditions at The Yard, they are unable to proceed with the Sean Paul concert on May 17th, 2019.

“At present, it would be a potential health and safety concern for the artists and concert goers to attend. Ticket holders will be notified via email of the new event date when available. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working diligently to secure the new concert date likely for August or September.”, stated EN Productions media release.

Shortly after publishing this release, SaultOnline was contacted by The Yard who released the following statement:

“After several meetings with EN Productions, the necessary permits and insurance were not applied for by the agreed upon date of April 18th, 2019. Therefore on April 21st, 2019, EN Productions was notified that the Sean Paul Concert could not be held at the Yard. Furthermore Rock 101 was also notified to remove the Yard as the venue for the concert which was being advertised. There is no further concerts planned at the Yard by EN Productions.”

EN Productions is stating that refunds will be processed upon request for those that cannot attend the future date once another venue for the concert can be arranged.

  1. Hey Sault Ste Marie, it doesn’t matter if the name is CSA, Cabin Media, KC, or this new “EN Productions”. The end result is always the same. And unsurprisingly, the detail of communication- or lack thereof- between the promoter and venue, matches TO A TEE the debacle that was (or rather, was NOT) Rock The Border 2017. Sounds like the same old guy up to his same old tricks, once again under the guise of a new company. Your next move is an easy one, SSM. Support local promoters and artists next time, rather than scammers from outside city limits. That’s really all there is to it.
