Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council wants to know what you want to watch


The Sault Ste. Marie Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is pleased to announce that it will be organizing a series of free movie showings at the Bellevue Park Bandshell once again this summer.

In advance of the selection of the movies that will be shown, MYAC wants to know what the residents of Sault Ste. Marie want to watch. People can choose from a list of six potential options (Mamma Mia, Back to the Future, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Jurassic Park, E.T. and Get Out) by visiting: You can select up to three movies.

The closing date for the poll is June 18. MYAC will be presenting three movies at yet to be determined dates in July and August.


  1. I am curios, who exactly are the youth advisory council? They look pretty old to me to be considered youth. what are their average ages and exactly how they were chosen to be somehow representing “youth”
    Is this just a training ground for the chosen few?
    Where is the mayors mature persons advisory council? Oh wait, old folks just are to shut it and pay their taxes and have no opinion of improving directions.
