Volunteers are needed for ROTARYFEST, The Sault’s Summer Festival from Thursday, July 18 to Saturday, July 20 in Clergue Park. The Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie still has spots available throughout all three days and across the festival, and is especially looking to fill up the following shifts:
Thursday and Friday from 6pm to 8pm in the Tenaris PlayZone: This area is full of free crafts, games, and learning opportunities so that families from all financial situations can enjoy the festival and build memories together.
Saturday from noon to 3pm and 3pm to 6pm in the Sorting Tent: The sorting tent is the cornerstone of ROTARYFEST’s waste reduction initiative. Volunteers help divert garbage otherwise destined for the landfill to be recycled or composted.
Saturday from noon to 5pm and 5pm to 8pm in the Rotary Food Court: The Rotary Food Court helps feed all of the volunteers, raises money for Rotary Youth Projects, and helps keep ROTARYFEST free for the whole community to enjoy.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get out into the community and meet people, for high school students needing volunteer hours, and for companies looking for teambuilding exercises (wear your company t-shirts!)
All donated time is greatly appreciated. This year’s Volunteer Incentive Program includes over 10 prizes from local businesses.
