Mill Market Sault Ste. Marie announces the arrival of new manager


Mill Market Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce the arrival of the new market manager, Robert Pryor.  The Mill Market is under new ownership since May of this year and, as a Not-for-Profit, has been working diligently at providing a smooth transition for the customers as well as for the vendors. Robert comes  with a solid background as supervisor/manager of several golf courses in his career. As Chair of the Board, Brent Lamming affirms that “Robert joins us with a strong background in marketing, budgeting, operations and customer service. His many years in the service industry will aid the Board in driving success for the Market in years to come. “

Robert and his wife Michelle moved to their family owned property three years ago.  Robert is excited to settle in the Sault as his family roots here extend back a couple of generations. He brings much enthusiasm and a fresh spirit to his new endeavour.  “I have long been a supporter and advocate of community markets. The Mill Market is a tremendous asset to this community. It serves as a platform for farmers of Algoma and as a unique destination for shoppers. I look forward to continuing to advance the usage and profile of this amazing organization. “Robert’s perspective and vision coincide well the future the Board envisions for the Mill Market.

Mill Market Sault Ste. Marie is open Wednesdays from noon to 4 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.

Theyare a Not-for-Profit organization run by a board composed of vendors and at large community members with an interest in the market, and supported by the city.  Brent Lamming is the board chair.
