VIDEO : Ontario Fire Marshall Probes McNabb Street Fire


The Ontario Fire Marshall is leading the investigation into an early morning fire on McNabb street that has extensively damaged the commercial building that included an upper floor apartment.

Sault Fire Services arrived to  373 McNabb Street around 2:30am Wednesday morning  when the fire was fully engaged. Three separate businesses operated in the space that included All Star Trophies, Pink Nail Spa and Dr. Tara , a naturopathic doctor.

Five fire trucks responded to the blaze and the Ontario Fire Marshall, James Allen is now conducting the investigation. The OFM investigates all fires that involve heavy property damage, explosions or death.  No cause has been determined.

No estimate of the cost of the damage to the building or if the building is structurally sound. No one was injured.
