Four Arrested in Connection With Walters Street Investigation
On August 28, 2019 officers with the Drug Enforcement, Crime Suppression, Emergency Services and Technological Crime Units executed search warrants in the 0-100 block of Walters Street.
The search warrants were executed around 1:00 o’clock this afternoon. Four individuals were arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation, with the assistance of the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA).
Police do not have an immediate concern for public safety. Further details of the investigation will be released as they become available.
Several People Taken Into Custody
The Drug Enforcement and Crime Supression Units of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, with the assistance of the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA), are currently conducting an investigation in the 0-100 block of Walters Street.
At this time there is a heavy police presence in the area. Sault Police advise there is no threat to public safety but recommend avoiding the area.
