Spreading the warmth – that’s the goal of the 25th annual CTV Coats for Kids Campaign with the help of community supporters, volunteers and Community Living Algoma.
An annual sponsored program for the past 25 years. Coats for Kids provides infants, children, and teens with gently used winter jackets, snowsuits, boots (when available) and other suitable winter wear. The program began when it became clear that children of all ages were struggling through cold northern winters without the proper clothing to keep them warm and dry.
The following community supporters are currently collecting gently used winter jackets, snowsuits, boots and outerwear until Friday, October 25, 2019.
Drop off locations are as follows:
- Fountain Tire – Black Road
- Algoma Financial Group – Queen Street
- Skeggs, Paciocco Law Firm- Queen Street
- Floreani O’Toole, Dool Orthodontists – Bay Street
- Jon’s Medicine Shoppe- Korah Road & Second Line
