Collision Sends At Least One Person To Hospital (photos)

A two vehicle crash on Queen Street east and Huron St. have sent at least one person to hospital with unknown injuries.

The collision involving an SUV and a truck occurred around 2:#0pm near the bridge plaza on Huron Street.  Both vehicles sustained major damage.

A woman and two children were in the truck. SaultOnline.com can not confirm if they were injured at this time.

Sault Ste. Marie Police, Sault Fire Services and EMS were dispatched to the area. The street was closed during the investigation and clean up.

  2. The sign that indicates the BRIDGE CROSSING TO THE USA is misplaced. In the position it is in now it makes traffic think they have to TURN RIGHT from Huron onto Albert. The sign should have been placed PAST the Huron/Albert intersection.

    I blame city hall for all the accidents that occur in this city. They have no idea how to set up streets. You take the turn off into the international bridge. I have run into so many tourists that don’t know where to turn, so they just keep going on by it and have to go around the block again and turn into it the second time around. And then Gore at Albert is a story in itself.
