About the Musical Comedy Guild
The Musical Comedy Guild of Sault Ste. Marie is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
producing high-quality musical theatre entertainment for our patrons while providing a training
ground and showcase for the artistic and cultural community of the Algoma region. To date, we have produced more than 100 musicals as well as a series of cabaret-style shows. Many of our actors have received honorariums and bursaries to encourage them to pursue careers in theatre, and they have gone on to excel in communities across the province, and around the world. We benefit from the support of our local sponsors and members and many of our
alumnae who have returned to us to instruct in workshops and direct, choreograph and
produce our shows.
