Incumbent MP, Terry Sheehan was fast out of the gate Wednesday as the 43rd Federal Election was called Wednesday morning by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Sheehan is seeking his second term as MP.
“This morning, the federal election officially started. For the next 40 days, I’ll be focused on my campaign – a campaign based on respect, positivity, and a proven track record.
For the past four years I have worked with the people of Sault Ste. Marie to create jobs, grow our economy, and help people get ahead. We’ve had more than $250 million invested in our businesses, our young people, and our community. Let’s keep working together to make sure that every one of our students, seniors, workers, and families has the opportunities to succeed. Let’s choose forward.
In the next 40 days, you will find Team Sheehan knocking on your doors, putting up signs, and speaking with our neighbours. You can join us by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org, (705) 759-2855, or by coming to our office at 485 Queen St. E.”
