$1000 Stolen From Bank Account


Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are
requesting your assistance in identifying suspects involved in an
incident of fraud.

The incident happened on October 13, 2019 while at Walmart
located at 446 Great Northern Road. The suspects a male and
female recorded the customers pin while they were at the
checkout. The suspects followed the customer to their vehicle and
acquired the customers bank card using a distraction technique.

Shorty after the suspects gained access to the victim’s bank, they
withdrew $1000. Two males were caught on camera in this clip
attempting a $400 transaction which was declined by the bank.

  1. When I worked in Harrods 30 years ago I was handed a bank card with a photo of the owner on it this was a Middle Eastern bank and i thought it was a good idea so less likely of identity theft but it would probably not work as it might be to expensive
