The Cultural Advisory Board Community Recognition Award was awarded to the Algoma Art Society at this weeks City Council meeting. The annual award, presented by the City of Sault Ste. Marie upon recommendation of the Cultural Advisory Board, recognizes cultural contributions for activities considered to be particularly outstanding or innovative, or which have demonstrated long-term commitment to culture as defined in the City’s Cultural Policy.
As the oldest Visual Art Group in Sault Ste.
