Crime of the Week: Break and Enter to Minerva Vintage 


Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an incident of break and enter and theft.

The early morning hours of October 27, 2019, Minerva Vintage on Queen Street was entered by 3 different suspects at different times. Suspect #1 entered the store at 3:30 am, suspect # 2 entered the store at 3:50 am, and suspect #3 entered at 7:00 am. Entry to the store was gained by way of a broken window on the front door.

All three suspects selected merchandise from the jewelry counter before exiting the store. The total value of stolen merchandise is approximately $2000.

  1. Do these Crime Stopper video`s ever result in arrests ? I would hope that they do, unfortunately all the police can do is arrest them, then more often than not, the courts let the criminals go with a slap on the wrist.
