Kidnapping and Assault with a Weapon

On November 17, 2019 28 year old Caleb Seaton passed away unexpectedly in Barrie, Ontario.

The investigation into the kidnapping and assault with a weapon, involving a firearm is still ongoing. The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is actively looking for 32 year old Tyler McMillan in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 705-949-6300.

If you see Mr. McMillan, do not approach him, call 911 immediately.

SaultOnline.com/ONNtv have received reports from those close to the family that a Sault Ste. Marie man wanted in connection to firearm offenses and kidnapping in Sault Ste. Marie was involved in an altercation with Barrie Police on Sunday.

Caleb Seaton and Tyler McMillian are wanted for a November 8th kidnapping and assault with a weapon. Seaton is a well known criminal in the Sault.

According to a family friend who was contacted by a brother of Seaton, it is alleged that police may have shot the wanted man, age 28, yesterday in Barrie.

Sault Ste. Marie Police Services tell SaultOnline.com/ONNtv that a release will be issued later today. Sault Police have not confirmed that Seaton was shot or if he may have been killed in a shoot out.
