Sault Ste. Marie has not been added to a snow squall warning issued for the northern half of the district today, but Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement as an Alberta Clipper moves through the Great Lakes.

Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for tonight and Wednesday.
Cold westerly flow over the relatively warm waters of Lake Superior is expected to produce isolated snow squalls beginning tonight. The snow squall bands are expected to temporarily move over the region tonight and possibly on Wednesday.
Locally heavy snowfall accumulations are possible along with reduced visibilities at times. Driving is expected to be hazardous at times tonight.
