SSM Egg Hunt about to hit 4,000 members

In just a matter of four days, the Sault Ste. Marie Easter Egg Hunt has grown to over 3,867 members and counting. With more and more residents getting creative with their Easter decorations, the community can get a glimpse of what’s out there through the full-length interview with Sarah Skagen, the Facebook group creator.

By joining the Facebook group, members will have a chance to see all the creativity within the community of Sault Ste. Marie and outside areas such as Bruce Mines, Echo Bay, and St. Joseph Island. People are not only decorating windows, but their cars, trees, front lawns, back decks, and even old Christmas decorations are being used.

“I was so amazed when I went outside and saw on my street how many people were participating, I thought now I need to get my decorations out,” said Egg Hunt participate, Beverly Luciani.

One fun feature of the SSM Egg Hunt, participants can track their locations via Google Maps. So far, over 350 people have entered their addresses, and there have been over 2,000 views to the Google Map.
