Mino Giizhep,

This is a reach out to all Urban Indigenous community members living in the general area of Sault Ste. Marie.

This message is in response to the effects that are a result of the COVID-19 pandemic currently affecting us all.

Please be aware the although the Indian Friendship Centre on East Street is closed to the public, we are still here to aid those in need.

Our Reception Desk (telephone) is available to receive calls from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday. The number is 705-256-5634.

You can call any other time day or night and leave a voice message. Please leave your name, your need, and a way we can contact you and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please remember to wash your hands, cough into you elbow, practice 6′ physical distancing and stay home unless it is absolutely necessary to go out. We are all in this together!

Baamaapii,

On behalf of the Indian Friendship Centre in Sault Ste. Marie
