Three Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance
On April 23, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 51-year-old Claude Corriveau, 20-year-old Angel Fletcher-McIntomy and 31-year-old Janet Hodgson for possession of a controlled substance.
On April 23, 2020 at 9:14 p.m. officers observed a vehicle with a non-functioning tail light. Police conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle. Mr. Corriveau was driving and Ms. Fletcher-McIntomy and Ms. Hodgson were passengers.
As officers explained the reason for the traffic stop the driver exited the vehicle to look at the tail light, then went to return to the driver seat. At that time officers observed a bag with a substance believed to be heroin in his pocket.
Officers went to arrest the driver, but he resisted, attempted to get back into the vehicle and kicked at an officer. While he was resisting he gave the bag containing the substance to the passengers. Officers gained control of the driver and arrested him.
Mr. Corriveau is charged with possession of a controlled substance, assaulting a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer. He was held for bail court.
Ms. Fletcher-McIntomy and Ms. Hodgson is charged with possession of a controlled substance. They are both scheduled to appear in court on July 13, 2020.
Male Charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
On April 23, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 26-year-old Michael Hogan-Denis for possession of property obtained by crime.
On or about March 21, 2020 a vehicle was stolen from Searchmont. On March 26, 2020 it is alleged the accused attended a business in the 0-100 block of Trunk Road while driving the stolen vehicle.
The accused is already in custody on another matter and was arrested in connection to the stolen vehicle. He is charged with possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of driving while under suspension, four counts of breach of probation and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
He was held for bail court.
Male Charged with Theft From Mail
On April 23, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 42-year-old Rejean Gionet for theft from mail.
At 10:35 a.m. police received a complaint of a male opening mail that didn’t belong to him at an apartment building in the 300 block of Lake Street. After opening two packages containing approximately $85 worth of goods he left the area.
Officers located him at 3:38 p.m. and he was arrested. He is charged with two counts of theft from mail. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 6, 2020.
