SAULT STE. MARIE: Thank you, Patrick Connolly, Agricultural Sector Project Coordinator at the United Way Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District’s Harvest Algoma for taking the time to talk to us about the #SeedOfChange Challenge and food security in Sault Ste. Marie.
The #SeedOfChange Challenge was created to urge individuals that one single seed can change a whole life. Individuals are asked to plant a seed and to watch it grow then to share their grown plant with those who need it in the community. If you’d like to participate the first step is easy, grab some seeds and soil. In the second part, give your seed love and water. In the third part, simply bring your planted seed to Harvest Algoma.
If you’d like to watch more on the #SeedOfChange check out the United Way Facebook page for other videos posted by local gardeners and farmers within the community.
