On June 26, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 25-year-old Michael Husband for impaired driving.
At 11:58 a.m. officers observed a vehicle travelling on Albert Street West near Carmen’s Way and fail to stop at a stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle officers observed the accused in the driver’s seat and detected a smell of cannabis coming from the vehicle.
A Standardized Field Sobriety Test was conducted and the accused performed poorly. He was arrested and later performed poorly during a Drug Recognition Evaluation. He is charged with impaired driving alcohol and drugs. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 31, 2020.
