Man Charged with Break and Enter
On June 15, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 19-year-old Reno White for break and enter.
It is alleged employees located the accused in the 400 block of Northern Avenue attempting to remove a motorcycle from a storage area. Officers were called and arrested the accused. A subsequent search of the area of arrest found him to be in possession of keys, ratchets and two axes.
He is charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, theft under $5,000 and breach of probation. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 24, 2020.
Man Charged with Uttering Counterfeit Money
On June 14, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 33-year-old Gerald Martel for uttering counterfeit money.
It is alleged on February 7, 2020 the accused attended a business in the 100 block of Queen Street East and attempted to use a counterfeit $100 U.S.A. bill to get change. The bill became lodged in the machine. The accused spoke with an attendant who advised a supervisor would be able to retrieve the bill at a later time.
When the bill was retrieved later, it was discovered to be counterfeit and police were notified.
The accused was located on June 14, 2020 and arrested. He is charged with uttering counterfeit money and breach of probation. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 24, 2020.
