Another Case Confirmed Positive By APH


Algoma Public Health reports another positive case of COVID-19 in the district.  That puts the total number of positive cases since the pandemic was issued at 27 for the district of Algoma.  One other case was reported earlier this week shortly after announcing a resolved case the same day.

The person is self isolating and close contacts have been notified. APH describes the person as ” a resident in the Algoma district”.

  • Community spread remains possible and likely in all regions of Algoma
  • All Algoma residents must continue to practice physical distancing because any close contact could be a possible exposure
  • Masks or face coverings must be worn in all indoor public places in Algoma and they should also be worn in other settings where physical distancing cannot be maintained
