Four Charged With Trafficking and Firearm Offenses


On July 16, 2020 officers with the Crime Suppression Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit and Emergency Services Unit arrested 30-year-old Shane Erdman, 34-year-old Josh Fogg, 34-year-old Dave Maclary and 27-year-old Josh Wagner for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

At 8:03 p.m. officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Wallace Terrace. Upon entering the residence, the four accused were located and arrested. During a subsequent search of the area of arrest officers located quantities of what is believed to be controlled substances; including 29.85 grams of fentanyl, 24.3 grams of crack cocaine, 22.8 grams of cocaine, 17.2 grams of methamphetamine, 236 grams of marihuana, 86 methamphetamine pills, 69 percocet pills, 16 oxycodone pills, packaging materials, digital scales, a .25 calibre semi-automatic handgun, a .303 bolt action rifle, ammunition, five cans of bear mace and $3,390 in Canadian currency. The estimated value of the substances seized is $22,570.

All four of the accused are charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, production of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, seven counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of property obtained by crime. Mr. Maclary is facing an additional charge of breach of a weapons prohibition order.

Mr. Erdman was held for bail court and the other three accused are scheduled to appear in court on September 21, 2020.
