Grocer4Good Ready to Re-open

The small grocery store on Gore Street is set to re-open.

In a release Thursday, Lisa Vezeau-Allen, Founder & President announced on behalf of the board of directors and collaborative agencies say Grocer4Good will re-open to the public on Monday July 20th.

“As an organization we made the right decision to temporarily cease operations for the
health and safety of our staff, volunteers and customers.” said Vezeau-Allen. We want to acknowledge the
support from our funders and partners in agreeing with our decisions during the first
stages of COVID-19. Kudos to our Program Manager, Ryan Alexander for continuously
connecting with staff during our closure and continuing to plan and work to grow our
mission.”

Grocer4Good is a collaborative enterprise between District Social
Services Board, Harvest Algoma, Ontario Disability Support Program, Ontario Works,
March of Dimes, Sault Ste. Marie Community Career Centre, Yes You Can
