On July 14, 2020 officers with the Crime Suppression Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit and Patrol Services arrested 29-year-old Zachary Bisaillon for robbery with a firearm.
It’s alleged on or about July 1, 2020 the accused entered a residence of a person known to him. The victim was unaware the accused had entered the residence. In an attempt to rob the victim, the accused assaulted them, striking them multiple times, pulled a handgun and pointed it at the victim and threatened to shoot them.
Officers began an investigation into the incident and a warrant for his arrest was issued. He was located at 3:14 p.m. on July 14, 2020 in the 200 block of Second Line West. He was arrested without incident.
He is charged with robbery with a firearm, using a firearm while committing an offence, careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, unlawfully in a dwelling, threatening death, aggravated assault and forcible confinement.
