A cold front is triggering periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms for most of the day today and into Monday. This cold front will also usher in a period of cooler weather for at least five days before temperatures begin to rebound to above seasonal values again next weekend.
In the meantime, expect to see periods of rain , heavy at times with a chance of a few embedded thundershowers in spots. At the same time, a heat warning stays in place thanks to a very humid air mass that will be pushed out of the area thanks to the cold front later tonight.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the area until Monday afternoon.
9:24 AM EDT Sunday 26 July 2020
Rainfall warning in effect for:
- Sault Ste. Marie – St. Joseph Island
Are there any updates since this morning?
Prayers for all residents for safety through this storm. 🙏
