The Algoma Arts Festival Association is extremely disappointed to announce that the 2020 Algoma Fall Festival which would have celebrated it’s 48th season cannot be held.
“This was a very difficult decision for our Board.” said Tiana Trutenko, President of the Algoma Arts Festival Association, presenters of The Algoma Fall Festival. “While we knew it was unlikely that we would hold this year’s Festival in our traditional format, we were hoping that we would be able to program at least one or two shows. However the necessary restrictions on gathering sizes due to the pandemic make that impossible.”
The Festival has been presented annually in October since 1972. We are so grateful to our corporate sponsors and donors, our grantors, the City of Sault Ste. Marie, our community partners, our volunteers and our patrons for your generous and ongoing support over the years.
Arts and culture is an integral part of a vibrant community which inspires and connects us to each other. We look forward to the time when we can once again present excellence in the arts in Sault Ste. Marie for our residents and visitors to our city.
