Galaxy Cinemas in the Station Mall re-opens today, with a number of safety protocols in place.
Some of the new safety guidelines include reduced seating and an emphasis of cleaning efforts.

Most of the theatres will accommodate up to 30 people. Following Algoma Public Health guidelines, movie-goers will be required to wear a mask unless you are seated and or eating or drinking in your seat.
Cash will only be accepted to purchase theatre gift cards, tickets can be purchased online. The theatre will rely on credit, debit and contactless payment.
Galaxy Cinemas is part of the Cineplex chain of theatres across the country. As of today including Sault Ste. Marie, 137 screens out of their 164 locations will have re-opened.
