Sault Ste Marie’s mayor is lashing out at Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce over the Province’s back-to-school plan.
Christian Provenzano took to social media to criticize the education minister for not doing “whatever it takes to keep kids safe,” adding he doesn’t believe schools are prepared for the return of students to class, despite the efforts of the school boards.
The mayor says Lecce and Premier Doug Ford could be doing a lot more to ensure teachers are ready to welcome students back to class.
Provenzano was responding to a tweet from Lecce that he had paid a visit to a warehouse where personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer are being stored.
