(BLIND RIVER) – The Blind River Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police say two people were assaulted at Four Sands Beach in Blind River on August 13th, 2020.

According to police, the pair was in a vehicle when a male punched them through the vehicle’s sunroof. The vehicle then fled the scene and went to a gas station on Causley Street.

Two trucks then boxed in the vehicle and assaulted and punched the driver once again, the victim drove to the Blind River OPP Detachment.

James Byerly, 37, of Blind River, was charged with assault.

Jonathon Dickinson, 37, of Blind River, was charged with two counts of assault.

Court is set for October 1st, 2020 in Blind River.
