Man Charged with Impaired Driving

September 21, 2020 – On September 19, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 21-year-old Colton Darlison for impaired driving.

At 2:21 a.m. police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver in the area of Huron Street. Upon arrival officers observed the accused next to the vehicle he was described to be driving.

Upon speaking with the accused officers developed grounds to believe his ability to operate a vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The accused was identified by a valid G2 driver’s licence. With a G1 or G2 classification, drivers must have a zero blood alcohol level when operating a vehicle.

He was arrested and subsequently provided two breath samples into an approved device; registering two fail results. He is charged with impaired driving blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). He is scheduled to appear in court on November 2, 2020.
