Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District Crime Stoppers is seeking new board member volunteers to join their team.
Since 1985, Sault Crime Stoppers has played an integral part in helping solve crime and keeping the communities they serve safe.
Crime Stoppers is based on the simple principle that for every crime committed, someone other than the criminal has information that might solve the crime. The program was created to combat the three major problems faced by law enforcement in generating that information.
- The fear of reprisal
- Reluctance to get Involved
A post on their Facebook page below describes how you can get involved, and you can always visit their website for more information by clicking here.
Get on board!
Crime Stoppers is pleased to announce that we are actively seeking new volunteer directors. Our charity relies heavily on volunteers to ensure the program’s overall success. As a member of our Board of Directors, you will join a group of enthusiastic volunteers who contribute to a safer community. Our Directors are expected to attend monthly Board Meetings and actively contribute to sub-committees.
If you have questions about this opportunity please reach out to us and we will put you in touch with someone on the Board of Directors for more information.
