In celebration of Culture Days 2020 the Sault Ste. Marie Museum is holding a pop-up market on Oct. 1, 2020.
The market is a collaboration with the Downtown Association who normally would host a few of these each year but had to cancel this year due to COVID. It will host 10 different vendors, some live music and celebrate culture according to Katie Huckson the outreach and program coordinator for the museum.
“We wanted to have an event where (with appropriate physical distancing measures in place) folks could enjoy music, arts, crafts, vintage and handmade items, and celebrate Autumn, local culture, and live music. We’ve kept it small, with just 10 vendors, space out and in their own tents,” said Huckson.
Huckson suggests people should dress warm if they intend to come down to the market. The market will run from 4:00-7:30 p.m. at 690 Queen Street East. Masks are required for both shoppers and vendors and free parking can be found near-by.
