A Sault Ste. Marie staple has new owners, and they are no strangers to the location.
The Chippewa Trading Post & Frontier Village is staying in the family as Mike & Kristina take over from previous owners, George & Susan Koprash.
Details were announced in a Facebook post on the Sault Ste. Marie Trading Post Facebook page, which you can visit by clicking here.
“Meet the proud new owners of The Chippewa Trading Post & Frontier Village! George and Susan are ready to retire and Mike and Kristina have officially purchased the business from them and will be your new go-to’s here at the village. From scooping ice cream to supplying you with the best tackle and hunting supplies, Mike and Kristina will be working hard to bring you the excellent service you’ve grown to know. Keeping this business local and in the family was incredibly important and we hope to keep it this way for generations to come. Next time you’re in and have questions or concerns be sure to ask for Mike or Kristina and they’ll be happy to help! Looking forward to many more years of providing Sault Ste. Marie with fantastic customer service.
And, that cute little pup is Gracie – she also looks forward to seeing you all in the village as the newest little mascot!”
