Tim Hortons® raises a record $10.56 million throughout national Smile Cookie Campaign, record amount raised for ARCH and the Twinkie Foundation!

From September 14 through 20, local Tim Hortons owners donated the full $1 from every freshly baked chocolate chunk Smile Cookie purchased to support two local charities in their community.

In Sault Ste. Marie, the Smile Cookie campaign raised $51,200.06 total: $25,600.03 for The Twinkie Foundation and $25,600.03 for ARCH Hospice. This sets a new record for Sault Ste. Marie, for the number of cookies sold. Smile Cookie Campaign raised record-breaking amounts for charities both nationally and locally. This amazing accomplishment is because of the passion and dedication that Tim Horton’s restaurant owners, team members, cookie decorating volunteers and restaurant guests show.

“This is a very sentimental week for us,” revealed Craig Holub, local Tim Hortons Restaurant Owner. “We’ve been touched by ARCH in a very direct way. ARCH and the Twinkie Foundation will always have a special place in our hearts. It is an absolute passion of all of us local owners to participate and give back.”
