March 26, 1938 to October 22, 2020 ~ We are saddened to announce the passing of Garry MacLean at his home, at the age of 82.
He is reunited with his loving wife Catherine MacLean (nee Willet). Lovingly remembered by his brother Wayne MacLean (Patricia). Stepfather of Donald, Blaine, Diane and Albert. Predeceased by his parents Stan and Rita (nee Collver) MacLean and his special uncles and aunts John MacLean (late Peggy), Peter MacLean (late Joyce), Diamond MacLean (late Bill Kirby), Margaret Falls (late Marvin), Chester MacLean, Florance MacLean, Jean MacLean, Margaret Collver, Jack Collver, Earl Collver, Kerry McFarlane (late Dave), Lillian Stewart (late Jack), Helen Harper (late Jack), Ken Collver (late Etabelle) and George Collver (late Shirley). Fondly remembered by his good friend Carl McIntyre and numerous cousins.
Garry enjoyed riding motorcycles and travelling. As a young man he spent several years working on a Great Lake Freighter named the Algo Soo. He was very fond of those memories. He also worked in the forestry industry logging the Algoma area.
The family wishes to thank his home care nurse Cathy and case worker Debbie for the care they gave Garry.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
