Sault Police Station

On October 18, 2020 officers with Patrol Services arrested 45-year-old Randy Running for impaired driving.

It’s alleged at 5:24 p.m. the accused was travelling on Second Line West and entered a ditch in the 3000 block and struck and damaged a retaining wall in a private driveway. The vehicle also sustained significant damage.

Upon arrival officers developed grounds to believe the accused’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol and he was arrested. He later provided two breath samples into an approved device and registered two fail results.

He is charged with impaired driving – alcohol and drugs and impaired driving blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). He is scheduled to appear in court on November 23, 2020.
