Red Ribbon Week Underway In Chippewa

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is underway in Chippewa County, and Chippewa Communities That Care is inviting everyone to take a stand against drugs.

Red Ribbon Week is aimed at raising awareness of drug use and its associated problems and calls on parents, educators, and businesses to promote drug-free lifestyles.

Activities include school announcements and the iTune Out Challenge.

The very first Red Ribbon Week was put on in 1988 by the National Family Partnership, which continues to coordinate the campaign.
