This week’s Sault Ste. Marie city council meeting had plenty of financial implications if everything passed.
The city intends to spend over five million on new busses.
They opted to implement the Jamestown revitalization plan.
After a lengthy discussion, they deferred the McMeeken decision to budget time.
The downtown security motion was deferred after Councillor Hollingsworth noted her almost identical motion from 2017.
Security may be dealt with when her motion comes back during the next meeting or this motion is passed again.
A new stop passed at the corner of Gore and Albert Streets.
All the financial reports passed.
